I just found a box full of books to read at a sale that I would've paid a fortune otherwise. I am loving this! Here they are: The Aladdin Factor by Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen. These two men are the bestselling authors of the famed Chicken Soup for the Soul books. The second book I found is the #1 National Best seller The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey. It seems like everyone in MLM is reading or has read this book. So I had to have it too. I guess what I am saying is if you have the opportunity to read and study from these great authors, you will learn so much. Don't try to change what has been successful. Use these people who have done this as your mentors and follow what they talk about in their books.
This one isn't as poplular that I know of but I found The MYTH of Tomorrow by Gary Buffone, PHD.
Here is one of the greatest books you will ever read. I actually read it when I first went into nursing classes. It is called Who Moved my Cheese by Spencer Johnson, Ph.D. It is a small yet valuable book that will make you smile and nod.
I am really looking forward to reading If I knew Then What I Know Now by Richard Edler. It is a compilation of CEO's and other smart executives that share some wisdom on what they wish they'd been told 25 years ago. Can you imagine the incredible information we can get from these successful people?
Do you take time to read every day? Do you take time to learn something new or review what you have already learned? If not, one of the most important things you can do for yourself is to learn and to read.
I just lit up a Honey Bee Vanilla gourmet candle. The scent is heavenly and I am ready to relax with a good book. Not sure which one I want to start first. Okay, I'm closing my eyes and pointing and the one picked is........(drumrolll)
The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People
Have a wonderful night and until next time, no matter what you do, Make this the best day of your life.
